23rd UNWTO General Assembly

The General Assembly is the supreme organ of UNWTO. Its ordinary sessions are held every two years and is attended by delegates from UNWTO Full and Associate Members, as well as representatives from UNWTO Affiliate Members.It is considered the most important global meeting of senior tourism officials and high-level representatives of the private sector. In accordance with resolution A/RES/708(XXII), the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) will hold its twenty-third session in Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation. As agreed with the host country, the meetings of the Assembly will take place from 9 to 13 September 2019 at the following venues: the Tauride Palace, the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre and the Presidential Library.
