Registration for the continent’s leading B2B Travel Trade Show, WTM Africa 2019, is officially open. WTM Africa 2019, hosted in partnership with the City of Cape Town from 10-12 April 2019, brings travel exhibitors, buyers, experts, media and stakeholders from across Africa together for three intensive days of meeting, networking, interacting – and learning – to drive the growth of the continental industry, on a global scale.

The Conference, Inspire, Destination and Travel Forward Theatres will once more host presentations and interactive sessions with global travel influencers, covering the topics that shape travel trends in the tourism industry. The WTM Responsible Tourism Conference will be led by Dr Harold Goodwin, MD of the Responsible Tourism Partnership and Emeritus Professor & Responsible Tourism Director at Manchester Metropolitan University. Appearing and hosting events and presentations across the other three venues are SAACI CEO Rudi van Deventer (Business Events Conference in partnership with IBTM Africa); mentor, business coach, consultant and strategist Alessandra Alonso (Women in Travel); former Ireland International Rugby Player and Talk Radio 702 Host John Robbie (SETE: Sports and Events Tourism Exchange); iambassador Founder & CEO Keith Jenkins; Film & Event Media Publisher Lance Gibbons; iambassador CMO Nicholas Montemaggi and many more.

The Africa Investment Summit brought to you by WTM Africa will provide attendees with an opportunity to meet with a number of local and international investors searching for investment opportunities in the travel and tourism sector across various countries in Africa. Taking place over two days, the WTM Africa Tourism Investors’ Summit will host keynote speakers from around the globe who will contribute their learnings, expertise, and unpack various investment opportunities Africa has to offer, not just in the travel and tourism sector, but also in lateral sectors that contribute to the industry.

The world-renowned WTM Buyers’ Club continues to play an important role at WTM Africa, with tour operators, travel agents, wholesalers and private travel arrangers with purchasing power and a reputation for generating genuine business leads recognised by a distinctive badge and access to exclusive venues and sessions to maximise business opportunities.

Whatever your interest in travel in Africa, WTM Africa 2019 offers an abundance of opportunities to help grow your business, your base, your knowledge or your skills. Register now to be part of the continent’s pivotal B2B Travel Trade Show.
