Over the past seven years, ILTM Africa has been the place to discover Africa’s most desirable destinations, luxurious accommodations, and unique experiences. At the end of Day 3 of ILTM Africa 2019, a review of this year’s experiences shows that the market continues to be an essential business meeting place for movers and shakers in luxury travel, as well as a true platform to highlight the trends facing the luxury travel market in 2019 – and beyond.

Yesterday’s meeting sessions were split by a ‘taste safari’ at GOLD Restaurant, with a 14-course meal incorporating flavours from Cape Town to Morroco and a djembe drumming session to help attendees feel the heartbeat of Africa.

As face-to-face meetings draw to a close, delegates are being treated to one final luxury event – the Closing Cocktail evening, powered by Shimansky. After a Private Diamond Tour at the Shimansky Rockwell Diamond Experience – where one lucky attendee will walk away with a remarkable Shimansky diamond – guests will be treated to a dazzling dinner at the award-winning Beluga Restaurant, featuring a host of local wines and cuisine.

Megan Oberholzer, Portfolio General Manager: Travel, Tourism & Sports at Reed Exhibitions, says that beyond the wining, dining and networking, what lies at the heart of ILTM Africa is a passion to showcase Africa’s best side. “There are myriad experiences across the vast continent of Africa, and we hope to showcase the finest of those to the most discerning audiences at ILTM Africa,” she says. “We hope that our attendees had productive meetings – over 3 700 pre-scheduled appointments took place this year – and we also hope that our travelling media contingent from around the world enjoyed their time interacting with our exhibitors and have had their minds, bodies and souls nourished by magical African encounters”.

With ILTM Africa 2020 already in the planning stages, it’s the ideal time to reserve your space at for the event, with limited Exhibitor tables, available.
