Air Seychelles to introduce more baggage allowance on its Mauritius route

Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles will introduce a new baggage policy on its Mauritius route, effective Monday, 1 July 2019.

Redesigned to better meet the needs of individual travellers, the new baggage structure, to be implemented on the Mauritius route only will be based on the number of bags checked-in instead of the total weight concept.

As such, guests travelling in Business Class will be entitled to two pieces of checked baggage of 32kg each in addition to the 12kg of hand luggage allowance.

Economy Class guests will be entitled to two pieces of checked baggage weighing 20kg each along with 7kg of hand luggage allowance. The baggage allowance for infants aged between 0 to 23 months will be 10kg in total.

Guests who have purchased tickets before the introduction of the new baggage policy, will be able to take advantage of the new piece concept if they are travelling as from 1 July 2019.

Guests holding a through ticket for travel to and from Mauritius and onwards to Praslin as from 1 July, the new baggage policy will also be honored on Praslin sector.
