President of the Republic of Zimbabwe H.E Emmerson Mnangagwa this morning is expected to open the inaugural Africa Wildlife Economy Summit at the Auditorium of the Elephant Hills Hotel in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.
The President will be joined by other visiting heads of states, African cabinet ministers and officials from the United Nations Environment.
The President arrived yesterday afternoon in Victoria Falls and was welcomed by the Minister of Environment, Tourism and Hospitality Hon P. Mupfumira.
The resort town of the magnificent Victoria waterfalls is set to receive over 500 international delegates for the maiden African Union and United Nations Environment Conference on wildlife economy.
The 3-days program is expected to gather experts, government leaders, the private sector players and conservationists to discuss ways of managing wildlife in Africa to the benefits of its people.
Minister of Environment, Tourism and Hospitality Industry Hon P. Mupfumira held a breakfast Bilateral Meeting on Wildlife Management and Community Benefits with Thérése Coffey MP ,U.K Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Environment and Rural Life Opportunities at the Victoria Falls Hotel.
