Kenya’s tourism offering was given a boost over the weekend with the opening of the refurbished Mama Ngina waterfront by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The magnificent structure not only add up to the profile of the coast as holiday destination but also offer the traveling publics another reason to choose Magical Kenya.

The Mama Ngina waterfront is expected to help restore the glory of Mombasa as a top tourist destination in the region. The Kenya Tourism Board is already optimistic that the waterfront park will help raise tourism numbers to the country’s oldest town.

In a video broadcast on her social media platforms, Dr. Betty Radier , CEO of Kenya Tourism Board explained that the Board is going to highlight what the Mama Ngina waterfront means to the people of the coast and more importantly share the history and heritage it offers to both the local citizens, the rest of Kenyans as well as its visitors.

“We believe this is going to change the opportunities we have for activities and experiences people can have in Mombasa.” She added.
