Meliá Hotels International will present its new hotels at the FITUR International Tourism Trade Fair, taking place from 19 to 23 January 2022 at IFEMA MADRID. Visitors to the Meliá stand will be able to find out about ME Barcelona, ME Dubai (UAE), Meliá Frankfurt City (Germany), Meliá Phuket Mai Kao (Thailand) INNSiDE Amsterdam, INNSiDE Luxembourg, INNSiDE Liverpool (UK), Sol Oasis Marrakech (Morocco) and many more.

The chain will also announce its latest renovation projects, including the Hotel Colón Gran Meliá in Seville and the ME Cabo (Mexico), as well as its most highly anticipated openings in 2022, such as Paradisus Playa Mujeres (Mexico), ME Doha (Qatar) and Gran Meliá Nha Trang (Vietnam). It will also showcase its new luxury brand Meliá Collection, as well as some exciting expansion projects for its brand Paradisus by Meliá.

Meliá Hotels & Resorts

Every year, one of the Melia Hotels International brands takes its turn centre stage at its FITUR stand, and this year the spotlight will fall on Meliá Hotels & Resorts. ‘So, the essence of this brand will flavour the design and decor of the spaces at our stand, but we’ll also have a special place reserved for our Paradisus by Meliá brand, since this year we’re coming with a raft of new developments that we’ll reveal at the trade fair’, according to the company.

Alongside this, ‘we’ve decided to stick with hybrid formats to enable us to connect to a wider audience, and we’ve planned a whole series of events that will take place live at our stand and streamed on our social media’.

Specifically, ‘on Wednesday (19 January) at 12.30pm we’re holding a press conference with our CEO, Gabriel Escarrer, while in the afternoon we’ll be joined at our stand by the writer Isabel Durán, author of the recently published biography of Meliá president, Gabriel Escarrer Juliá. All of this will also be livestreamed on social media’.
