Asky Airlines ups baggage allowances from Sept.1

Pan African Carrier Asky Airlines is set to increase baggage allowance for passengers in all classes from September 1, 2022.

The new arrangement will see increased baggage allowance from 40kg to 46kg for economy passengers and from 50kg to 64kg for business passengers.

The Lome-based airline will also extend the offer to ASKY club members from Thursday, September 1. In a media release on the new service, the airline said ”Effective September 01, 2022; ASKY is pleased to announce an increase in baggage allowance for its esteemed passengers: Business class 32*32 kg two pieces //Economy class 23*23 kg two pieces.”

”Our ASKY club members will also benefit from additional baggage allowance according to the following category:” the statement continued.

This offer will be applicable for all tickets purchased with journies beginning from September 01, 2022

Excess baggage will also be based on the piece concept invoicing method.

ASKY, The Pan-African Airline, is a 100% privately owned airline created by regional banking institutions in Africa that includes The ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID), The West African Development Bank (BOAD) and ECOBANK Group (ETI) in partnership with Ethiopian Airlines.
