On Friday, 23 September 2022 a group of travel agencies, tour operators and top supporters of destination Seychelles were recognized in a joint collaborative ceremony by Air Seychelles and Tourism Seychelles in South Africa. Held at the Bryanston Country Club in Johannesburg, the ceremony had the aim of rewarding top-selling African agencies who have been selling Air Seychelles and Seychelles as a destination for the period of 2021 – 2022.

Air Seychelles Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Charles Johnson, officially launched the ceremony with an opening speech highlighting the airline’s business activity, milestone accomplishments, and upcoming plans.

He stated “Air Seychelles is pleased to announce that it has recently signed interline agreements with South African-based airlines Airlink and Safair. This will allow the national carrier to offer domestic connections from various points in South Africa under a single ticket. These agreements will offer travelers a seamless journey when connecting in Johannesburg over previously having to buy their domestic tickets separately.”
