Ethiopian Airlines Wins ‘Best African Airline’ Award at Business Traveller Awards 2023

Ethiopian Airlines Group, the fastest-growing global airline brand and the continent’s leading airline has been crowned as the ‘Best African Airline’ at Business Traveller Awards 2023. Business Traveller Awards has named Ethiopian as the Best African Airline for four years in a row, since 2020.

Extending his congratulatory message, Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO Mr. Mesfin Tasew said, “We are extremely happy to have won the much contested and globally acclaimed Business Traveller Awards as the Best African Airline. The award means a lot for us and it is very special as it comes in a perfect time when we start the New Ethiopian Year of 2016. I would like to sincerely express my gratitude to each one of our customers for their strong vote of confidence. I also thank the hardworking Ethiopian workforce whose commitment to excellence has brought us thus far and will take us further.”

The year 2023 has been very special for Ethiopian Airlines as it has won much-coveted multiple industry awards from Business Traveller Awards to SKYTRAX World Airline Awards, to APEX Passenger Choice Awards among others. Ethiopian success has been demonstrated in both passenger and cargo and logistics services in its vast network across the globe.

The Business Traveller Awards are voted for by readers of the magazine, with the results authenticated by an independent auditing company, and are widely recognised as the market’s benchmark for excellence. Ethiopian triumph was announced at an event held in London’s Royal Garden hotel on Wednesday 13 September, by the publishers of Business Traveller Magazine, Panacea Media.
