Africa Showcase, the continent’s flagship and tourism B2B platform, has kicked off the year with Roadshows in Southern and Central Europe.

The tourism B2B platform returns to Southern Europe this February 2024, taking top-quality African exhibitors to meet with the passionate Africa specialists in the region.

”We are seeing a lot of new potential in this market as a result of staff changes in recent years and new travel designers emerging,” the organisers said.

The platform, which brings operators, suppliers and the tourism ecosystem together, has through its numerous roadshows that opened up the region’s tourism offerings to an incredible source market platform.

The showcase starts with the Southern Europe roadshow on Monday, February 5, 2024 with meetings in the Italian city of Rome where over 30 industry suppliers will converge at the Western Excelsior to get the business going.

The meetings will happen in a rotating fashion, with the guests seated while the exhibitors move from table to table on a timer. This ensures that you meet everyone and receive the latest updates from the African exhibitors.

After Rome in Italy, the show will make its next stop in Madrid in Spain on February 6, 2024 to showcase Africa’s alluring and diverse tourism offerings to Spanish market agents. It will round up the Southern Europe market with a session with the travel trade in Lyon, France on February 8, 2024.

The growing interest in Africa as a destination from the Central Eastern European market has informed the enhanced services and specially curated programs to offer opportunity for exhibitors, travel consultants and agents to explore ways of making Africa a destination of choice in these markets. The CEE market is one of the fastest growing markets in Europe and Africa has seen the how rewarding that market has been with some destinations being outperforming some traditional markets.

The Africa showcase train will make stops in Budapest-Hungary on February 27th, Warsaw- Poland on February 28th, and Prague in Czech Republic on February 29th.

The Africa showcase is crafted for esteemed tour operators and travel agents who love sharing the magic of Africa. Whether you are already familiar with the wonders of the continent, or seeking new and exciting experiences for your clients, the event is created just for you.
