Botswana President to open HATAB’s Annual Conference on April 26

The President of Botswana, Dr. Mogkweetsi Masisi will perform the official opening of the 2024 Hospitality and Tourism Association of Botswana (HATAB) Annual Conference.

The two-day event will take place at the Maun Lodge in Maun, from April 25-26. The Conference is on the theme: “Advancing towards a world class tourism investment climate to create jobs” and will witness participation by stakeholders from tourism, hospitality, aviation and related service providers.

Also expected at the gathering are the ministers of Tourism & Environment and Labour & and Home Affairs.

An impressive list of industry leaders and experts from both Botswana and other countries will lead discussions on several topics including: Trophy Hunting and Contribution to Tourism, Boosting Tourism Growth Through Regional Collaboration, Skills Development for Global Competiveness and Leveraging on Artificial Intelligence for Tourism Competitiveness among others.
