AviaDev Africa 2024: Namibia Tourism Board to host welcome reception for delegates

AviaDev Africa, the continent’s leading platform dedicated to growing connectivity to, from and within the African continent, is set for its 8th edition and maiden event in Windhoek, Namibia.

The top tier aviation event will gather airlines, airports, tourism authorities, governments and industry suppliers under one roof to undertake business meetings to help provide the seamless connectivity Africa deserves.

The Namibian Tourism Board, the country’s national marketing agency will host the over 350 aviation industry players to an evening of exciting Namibian hospitality nuanced in style.

Delegates to Namibia will have the opportunity to experience some of the incredible and immaculate beauties of the land of the brave.

Holding on the evening of June 18, 2024, the NTB is looking to give the marquee aviation event the headstart it deserves to set the stage for what could become the new benchmark for future host.

The Acting CEO of Namibia Tourism Board Bonnie Mbidzo says, “ Namibia is ready to showcase our diverse and amazing tourism offerings to the key decision makers in the aviation and tourism industries. It is an honour for us to be hosting this major event and the sector will do its best to ensure the warm Namibian hospitality is felt”.

He added that the event is not ordinary as it recognizes the cardinal role of the aviation sector in the growth and development of the tourism sector .

Mr Mbidzo also underscored the importance of partnership with key stakeholders as NAC being the host of this year’s event in Windhoek .

“Experience the tastes, flavours, sights, and sounds of Namibia at our welcome reception,” he urges.
