The Africa Hospitality Investment Forum (AHIF), Africa’s premier gathering of leaders in the hospitality sector, will commence tomorrow, June 25, 2024, at the Mövenpick Hotel in Windhoek, Namibia.

This annual event, running through June 27, 2024, brings together hotel and real estate investors, owners and developers, global hotel operator CEOs, and prominent advisory services from across the African continent and beyond.

AHIF is renowned for fostering dialogue and driving deals between international investors and African hospitality owners. This year’s forum promises to continue this tradition, offering a platform for key influencers in the African hospitality investment market to explore creative solutions, discover new opportunities, and drive investment into tourism projects, infrastructure, and hotel development across the continent.

The forum will be opened by Namibia’s Vice President, Dr. Dr. NetumboNandi-Ndaitwah, highlighting the significance of the event for the host nation. Other notable speakers include: Lola Ade-John, Nigeria’s Minister of Tourism, Olivier Granet, Managing Partner and Co-CEO of Kasada Capital Management, Bani Haddad, Founder and Managing Director of Aleph Hospitality and Haitham Mattar, Special Advisor at UN Tourism and Managing Director for MEA & South West Asia at IHG Hotels and Resorts.

These distinguished speakers are expected to share their extensive knowledge, experience, and insights on the latest trends and opportunities in the hospitality industry.

AHIF’s carefully curated networking events are integral to its success. Attendees of AHIF 2024 can look forward to networking receptions, dinners, roundtable discussions, speed networking and scheduled business meetings designed to facilitate meaningful connections and business opportunities.

With over 500 attendees, 90+ industry-leading speakers, and representatives from more than 40 countries, the forum is set to be a melting pot of ideas and collaborations. The event also boasts sponsorship from over 30 companies, underscoring its importance in the hospitality investment calendar.

Over the three-day event, attendees will also have the opportunity to gain fresh industry insights from experts, make new business contacts and be inspired by new initiatives and ideas.

This year’s event is being attended by senior figures and decision-makers from all areas of the hotel investment industry, including investors, hoteliers, owners, lenders, and suppliers. This diverse assembly of professionals is expected to generate robust discussions and foster collaborations that will drive the future of hospitality investment in Africa.
