Tourism Seychelles left a lasting impression at the Seychelles Roadshow 2024 in North America, held from June 18th to 21st. Represented by Mrs. Natacha Servina, Senior Marketing Executive, and Ms. Rolira Young, Marketing Executive, the team successfully showcased the beauty and allure of Seychelles to key travel industry stakeholders across the region.

The roadshow featured participation from notable local partners, including Mr. Joao Alves, representing Eden Bleu Hotel, Mr. Jason Britter, representing Constance Group, Mr. David Germain from Creole Travel Services and Ms. Jordyn Erasmus from Blue Safari Seychelles.

The dedicated roadshow targeted four prominent cities in the USA: San Diego, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Arizona. Each city saw participation from 25-30 agents, totaling 100-120 agents across North America.

Speaking about the event, Mrs. Servina noted the positive feedback from partners, especially regarding the turnout and organisation of the roadshow.

“North America continues to show an increase in arrival statistics. During the workshops, the interest was high, and our presence was highly appreciated by the trade, which learned quite a lot about Seychelles and are now more confident and willing to include Seychelles in their portfolio,” said Mrs. Servina.

The primary goal was to boost the visibility of Seychelles in the North American market by equipping agents with the knowledge and confidence to promote and sell Seychelles as a premier travel destination.

The event featured round-robin workshop sessions with networking opportunities, destination presentations by the Tourism Seychelles team, and short presentations from attending Seychelles partners. These workshops provided valuable training and created a platform for local partners to promote their products.

North American participants also had the opportunity to win prizes sponsored by partners, including accommodation and transfers, amongst other goodies.
“We are thrilled to reconnect with our North American partners through this roadshow,” said a Mrs Natacha Servina, “By providing in-depth training and creating valuable networking opportunities, we aim to strengthen our relationships and boost Seychelles’ market presence in the region.”

Tourism Seychelles is dedicated to promoting the Seychelles Islands as a premier travel destination. Through strategic marketing initiatives, partnerships, and events, Tourism Seychelles aims to increase destination visibility and market share and inspire travel trade professionals worldwide.
