Mauritius: All set for Festival Internasional Kreol 2024

“Festival Internasional Kreol” will be hosted in several communities across Mauritius from December 12 to December 22. The 2024 edition of the festival is one of the most anticipated event among the people of the country. The aim of the programme will be to highlight the authenticity of the kreol culture of Mauritius.

Kreol, which is a highly important part of the culture of Mauritius will be celebrated with local music, arts, language, handicraft and cuisine. They will be demonstrating the richness of Mauritian culture, will be held from 12 to 22 December 2024.

The Festival is being hosted by the Mauritius Ministry of Tourism and the Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority. The programme has been planned in such a manner that more Mauritians and foreigners can participate.

The 2024 Kreol Festival, according to the organizers will have whole new dimension allowing the highlight of Mauritian Culture. The locals as well as the tourists in Mauritius will be able to participate in the festival.

The programme is not only a reflection of their culture, it will also help the local economy of the nation to grow. The Festival Internasional Kreol will be launched at Le Morne, in the presence of Prime Minister, Dr Navinchandra Ramgoolam.

After the launch event, the government will be organizing a number of events for the people of the country to participate in the festivities. The officials have shared that the this is a highly crucial opportunity for the local artists.

The locals will have significantly high exposure for the people of the country. The officials have shared that they would get recognition in the international front.

Junior Minister of Tourism has said that the Festival will help promote Mauritius as an attractive tourist destination. The tourists will have the opportunity to experience the rich culture of the nation.

Press members will be coming to cover the Kreol Festivities from several nations across the globe, India and England will send represetatives alongside Germany, Seychelles and more nations.
