The kingdom of Morocco’s tourism hotbed of Marrakech is set to host the Conference on Technological Innovation and Tourism Investment on Tuesday January 28.The event aimed at bridging technology and investment in the tourism sector. Organized by UN Tourism in partnership with Tourism Engineering and Investment(SMIT Morocco) and Morocco’s Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts and Social & Solidarity Economy this forum will provide a strategic platform for stakeholders to explore solutions for sustainable tourism growth, SMART innovations, and investment opportunities.

The one-day event will feature key discussions centered on integrating cutting-edge technology and investment strategies into tourism. Industry leaders and experts will share insights during a keynote session on emerging investment trends, followed by panel discussions on sustainable tourism growth and SMART solutions for innovation.

A notable highlight will be the presentation of the “Tourism Doing Business – Investing in Morocco” guidelines, a detailed resource offering investors valuable insights into Morocco’s tourism landscape.

The forum will also spotlight Moroccan entrepreneurs through the National Tourism Startup Competition: Invest in the Development of Moroccan Tourism. Finalists will showcase innovative, sustainable, and immersive tourism concepts, culminating in an award ceremony to celebrate their achievements.

The event will conclude with a networking lunch, fostering connections between tourism professionals, investors, and innovators. Attendees will have the chance to exchange ideas, explore collaborations, and strengthen partnerships.
