FIN Summit, a significant event on Angola’s business calendar, will return for its fourth edition on 31 October and 1 November 2026 at the InterContinental Hotel Luanda.
Dedicated to finance, investment and business, the event is expected to welcome 3,200 in-person participants, with a further 4,000 joining online via the FIN App, bringing its total anticipated audience to more than 7,000. The programme is structured around three focus areas: Finance and Investment, Marketing and Sales, and Business and Leadership, and will feature both Angolan and international speakers.
The Angola Convention Bureau (ACB) has positioned FIN Summit as part of its wider strategy to establish Angola as a destination for meetings and major professional events, alongside the country’s growing tourism sector. The 2025 edition, held at the Talatona Convention Centre, drew more than 6,000 participants and featured 50 speakers, while generating a reported digital reach of 15.7 million. The continued development of FIN Summit is particularly relevant as it reflects Angola’s broader ambition to grow its business events sector while supporting wider economic diversification.
Under Angola Vision 2050, the government is working to reduce the country’s dependence on oil by developing opportunities across a range of industries. Events that bring investors, financial institutions and business leaders to Luanda can contribute to that diversification effort by providing a platform to showcase opportunities across those sectors.

For South Africa, FIN Summit follows a period of growing commercial engagement with Angola. In July, a South African trade delegation participated in the FILDA (Feira Internacional de Angola) in Luanda, representing sectors including agro-processing, engineering, mining and chemicals. According to South Africa’s Department of Trade, Industry and Competition, the delegation generated 82 trade leads through engagements with 341 buyers and 55 business-to-business meetings. While separate from FIN Summit, these developments point to growing opportunities for industry collaboration between Angola and South Africa. For South Africa’s meetings, finance and business events sectors, Angola’s expanding MICE ambitions and the growing commercial relationship between the two countries give FIN Summit’s Finance and Investment, Marketing and Sales, and Business and Leadership tracks added relevance on the regional trade calendar.
For the Angola Convention Bureau, the continued growth of FIN Summit is part of a longer-term strategy to demonstrate Angola’s capacity to host significant professional and business events, while strengthening Luanda’s position as a meeting point for investment, commerce and professional exchange.
