WTM London, powered by RX Global, has reconfirmed its commitment to the next generation of talent with a range of offers for students and graduates wanting to attend the world’s most influential travel and tourism event.
Its connection with the workforce of the future is primarily secured through its long-standing partnership with ITT Future You, part of the Institute of Travel and Tourism. Every year since 2009, WTM and ITT Future You have co-hosted a dedicated forum for students and graduates as part of the WTM London conference programme.
This year, the ITT Future You Summit takes place on Thursday 5 November in the Maritime Suite, George V Room 1, from 10:00-12:30. The session will give students an exciting introduction to the travel industry, featuring industry insights, inspiring speakers, career advice, networking opportunities and interactive sessions. Students will have the chance to connect with leading travel professionals, discover career pathways and gain valuable insights into the future of global travel.
In recognition of the partnership, WTM London has made 300 tickets for the summit available free of charge. These tickets are being distributed by ITT Future You and there are a limited number still available so students and recent graduates in travel, tourism, aviation and hospitality who are interested in attending should speak to their institution’s careers or placement office to find out about access to tickets.
WTM is also partnering with The Tourism Society, which is adding 49 free student memberships to these tickets leading up to the 50th Anniversary in 2027.
“We are delighted to be partnering with WTM in 2026”. Commented Alison Cryer MBE, Executive Secretary, “The purpose of the Tourism Society is to promote careers in Tourism across all sectors, and this collaboration will go a long way in doing this”.
In addition to these limited allocated tickets, distributed through specific partner channels, WTM is also offering students a discounted entrance fee of £10 for the Thursday, the day the ITT Future You Summit session takes place.
Chris Carter‑Chapman, Event Director, WTM London, said: “Today’s students and recent graduates are the future of the travel industry, and WTM has a moral obligation to make sure that they are not only welcomed into the industry at the earliest stages of their career but also factored in to our conference programme.
“We’re proud of our long-term partnerships with ITT Tourism Society and long may it continue”.
Universities are encouraged to reach out to their relevant associations to enquire about complimentary student tickets.
