Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Wildlife Najib Balala has revealed that the country’s tourism festival will further grow its brand and give it visibility.
In a broadcast days ahead of the mega events to be hosted in Nairobi, Najib Balala said he was confident that “the country’s efforts in positioning Kenya as Africa’s number one destination will be enhanced during this week.”
He highlighted the Africa Hotel Investment Forum which will bring in CEOs of the world’s leading hotel brands and investors will create businesses for the tourism sector.
The African Union Tourism Ministers Meeting will be held in Nairobi in 2nd October with the UN Tourism Secretary General Zurab Pololikashvili attending the meeting.
President Kenyatta is expected to open the Magical Kenya travel Expo.
The 8th Magical Kenya Travel Expo will bring international buyers and media from 30 countries with over 500 exhibitors also expected to attend the event.
