All set for inaugural GEM Awards

The GEM Awards are aimed at representing the niche international hospitality industry in Ghana and eventually the rest of Africa.

The award will recognize the hard work of some of the most dynamic individuals and teams who are carving the industry’s growing landscape in hotels, restaurants or spas.

The November 9 event will be awarded uniquely based on feedback from staying guests in the form of verified online, reviews, direct booker feedback and peer nominations.

In all, 22 awards will be given out on the night. The Omanye Hall of Labadi Beach Hotel is the event venue for the awards ceremony.

The event which will be broadcasted live on DSTV will start at 6pm prompt and guests are expected to be at their wardrobe best. Organisers say there will be a GEM – after party.
