Flights between Addis Ababa and Sao Paulo will be reduced to five a week come 09th of March, down from the presently daily service.

Also affected by the change will be Buenos Aires, which is presently being served daily too but will from March onwards only have three flights a week.

Three of the Sao Paulo flights continue to the Argentine capital while two will terminate in Brazil’s largest city.

The routes will be operated using Boeing B777-200LR aircraft, also discontinuing, for now, the use of the Boeing B787 Dreamliner. The flights leave Addis every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday and return to the Ethiopian capital the following day.
