Minister Of Environment, Tourism & Hospitality Industry Priscah Mupfumira has commended conservation efforts being undertaken by the Chirundu, Mana Pools and ZimParks on the lower Zambezi area.
Today she’s touring the area and to officiate two handover ceremonies of a ranger camp, patrol vehicles and staff accommodation.
Earlier this morning, the Minister officially opened the Zivaru Reaction Camp, a state of the art anti poaching station.
The Minister and her delegation then moved to Kariba for another official handover ceremony of housing and two vehicles for anti poaching rangers working in the area.
The delegation is comprised of the Environment Director in the Ministry Samuriwo, ZimParks Deputy Chairperson Mrs Theresa Murumbi, Director General, Mangwanya, Deputy DG Geoffreys Matipano, PR Manager Tinashe Farawo as well as the ZTA Acting Chief Executive Mrs Rita Likukuma and ZTA’s Head Corporate Affairs Godfrey Koti.
