Serena Hotels Tanzania announces the introduction of new Healing Earth Spa concept offered across all their entire spa offering in Tanzania. The Healing Earth Spa concept was officially introduced on June 1st 2019 exclusively customized for Tanzania properties with the/an aim of giving guests authentic holistic spa treatments with products that are sourced from Africa’s rich natural resources.

Healing Earth is a premium African spa brand that offers natural, organic products, therapies and spa concepts to discerning clients all over the world. Created by spa veteran, Elisabeth Brandt, Healing Earth specializes in developing unique and bespoke protocols to suit the guests’ needs.

Mr. Mugo Maringa, Country Director, Serena Hotels Tanzania, says, “We are excited to introduce a new wellness concept for our guests. Guests will not only enjoy innovative spa treatments but they can also be rest assured with the knowledge that we are using natural products that are eco-friendly.”

Healing Earth developed a powerful spa concept for Serena Tanzania taking into consideration each property’s needs as well as the brand’s ethos to protect the people, environment and wildlife in which it operates. Additionally, a thoughtfully crafted transformative spa menu was developed to offer the highest level of personalization. All the Healing Earth products are free from synthetic fragrances, colorants, petro chemicals, preservatives and parabens.

Staff were trained on Healing Earth product knowledge and techniques, personal development and best practise to ensure they share in the same vision. The training took place at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge during which exceptional therapists from various properties were recognized in a beautiful certification ceremony.

Lucy Kuibita, Group Spa Manager, Serena Hotels says, “The use of purely natural products and training our staff on new treatment techniques is a step change in ensuring we continue to deliver consistent memorable spa experience to our guests.”

The Spa menu includes Serena signature spa rituals using different Healing Earth product families such as Marula & Neroli- Relaxing Journey, Mongongo Nut-Detoxifying journey, Coffee& Cinnamon- Uplifting Journey, Spirit of UTU-Togetherness Journey, High performance facials using Pinotage grape and Tri-enzyme range among others.

The Healing Earth concept is expected to be rolled out in Serena Kenya properties by the year 2020.
