Ghana’s Kyekyeku and Fra off to impressive start at Canarias Jazz International Festival

Ghana’s representatives at the ongoing Heineken Canarias Jazz and mas International Festival treated patrons to an exciting evening of Ghanaian and African music in the Canary Islands of Las Palmas.

Kyekyeku Ghanalogue Highlife band and Fra!in March this year came up tops during the vis-a-vis musical competition in Accra, Ghana.The Groups then qualified to join finalists from around the world in Gran Canarias.

The three-week music festival saw the two groups starting off with 3 hour music show to the thrill of revellers at the Africa night boulevard in Las Palmas.

Senegalese singer Nayaband also performed in last night’s concert.

The concert is organized by Spanish diplomacy Agency Casa Africa to showcase Africa’s music talent to the world.
