All is now set for Aviators Africa to host the cremé de la cremé of Africa aviation, its friends and development partners across the globe to a great experience of the firm’s history, awards and gala night in commemoration of 10 years of unparalleled service to the Africa aviation and tourism industry.

The Aviators Africa Awards, tagged “The Towers Awards”, is aimed at recognising and celebrating excellence and productivity in the Africa aviation landscape towards fostering healthy competition, quality, innovation, creativity and originality every year.
Over the past decade of its existence, the firm has been a one stop shop for publication of premium magazine and news reporting in the Africa aviation sector.

Speaking at a press briefing, the Chief Executive Officer of Aviators Africa, Toni Ukachukwu, said this idea is as old as the company but had no better time to be launched other than on its 10th Anniversary. “It is an idea we have been fine tuning and for the last ten years.”

He continued by saying: “having consulted widely across Africa amongst veterans and aviation stakeholders, the feedback was great and it was agreed that the Africa aviation landscape needed a data driven award that will promote healthy competition and increase productivity in the Aviation value chain.”

“From next year Aviators Africa, will during the year in review, work with operators and key stakeholders that will be willing to open their books and give our team access to their operations for opportunity to be considered as a nominee for our awards’ category. Thereafter, the nominees will then be subjected to voting by veteran aviation experts and eminent personalities who will make up the awards panel.”

“Our non voting categories will be the Aviators Africa CSR Award and Aviators Africa Hall of fame, where individuals who have served and impacted African Aviation will be recognized and inducted. All awards categories will be announced shortly.
“Aviators Africa Awards was conceived and birthed to be a Pan-African event which will see it being hosted in other cities across Africa in the near future,” Ukachukwu concluded.

The inaugural awards and gala will be holding on the 1st of December, 2019 at Radisson Blu Hotel, Lagos (Ikeja), Nigeria.
