Newly established, Kenya National Convention Bureau (KNCB) has introduced its newsletter to sensitize and inform the general public about the outfit.

KNCB which was inaugurated late October, like Convention Bureaus worldwide will develop and manage a MICE brand proposition for Kenya as a destination in order to increase the number and quality of events, meetings and conferences.

KNCB will therefore execute this mandate through offering expert services from advisory on product development to venues and service providers, content development and promotions, coordinating MICE marketing programmes, as well as supporting both public and private entities and associations in bidding for events.

Speaking to VoyagesAfriq on the introduction of this newsfeed service , Jacinta Nzioka , National Coordinator of the Bureau said, ” Our maiden communiqué to our stakeholders is a statement that the secretariat is now established and with a plan of action. In the coming few months, we will be focusing on entrenching frameworks of engaging the trade both locally and internationally as well as build and grow a competitive brand value proposition.

“As we reach out, we will be looking forward to building lasting relationships that will propel the destination higher. We promise a listening and engaging strategic partner to all MICE players in Kenya and abroad, who have been tirelessly working to grow MICE business.

The KNCB is a government entity under the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife with a mandate to coordinate all MICE activities within the destination as well as secure future meetings to the destination Kenya.
