Africa’s premier Meetings industry event , Meetings Africa is fast approaching and the time to tick the boxes of firmed programs is now.

The event scheduled for 24-26 February will gather key players in the Business Events/MICE industry.

Ahead of the expo, Africa Tourism Partners in collaboration with BDO South Africa and South Africa National Convention Bureau will host the first-ever Beginners and Advanced Africa Business & MICE Tourism Masterclasses from Thursday the 20th to Friday 21st February 2020.

The progammes aims to skill beginners and new entrants into Africa Business Travel and MICE Industry and, also to upskill Business Travel and MICE tourism professionals, practitioners, operators and executives in Africa.

It is also a professional development avenue that will provide a holistic view of the opportunities for the Africa MICE industry.

The CEO of Africa Tourism Partners Kwakye Donkoh says, the Masterclass seeks to grow the skill set for the Africa MICE industry,and particularly up and coming practitioners in the MICE sector.

Attendees include Chief Executives, Senior Executives , General Managers, Chief Marketing Officers, Sales & Marketing Directors, Heads of Departments, Corporate Sales Managers, Meeting Planners PCOs, DMCs, Event Managers and exhibition Directors.

Africa’ Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions/Events (MICE) sector has experienced tremendous growth in the recent years. It has therefore become imperative for destinations and all other stakeholders to invest in capacity building, so as to collectively strengthen the AfricA MICE’s industry skills base for the benefit of all.
