Central African Republic’s new Minister of Tourism committed to Developing the Sector

The new minister of Arts, Culture and Tourism Vincente Maria Lionelle Jennifer Saraiva-Yanzere of Central Africa Republic has promised to make the tourism and arts sectors the main economic drivers for the country.

Ms. Saraiva-Yanzere who was appointed in June this year following the re-election of President Professor Faustin-Archange Touadéra in March 2021, has set as her main objective of making the Central African Republic a destination for leisure and business activities to spur the needed economic development.

She believes the covid pandemic has afforded them the opportunity to grow their domestic tourism with the promotion of tourist sites in the Central African Republic.

The Minister who comes with a rich background in trade and commerce intends to put her know-how for the benefit of her country to sell the Central African Republic as an eco-tourism, sports and business tourism destination, to name a few.

Profile
Pan-African at heart, she created the Reine Bantou association for the promotion of Bantu culture that is present in several countries of Central Africa (Gabon, Central African Republic, Cameroon, Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo.

She is the initiator of the African Royalty Gala with the election of the Bantu Queen. Very active in the reconstruction of her country, she is the founder and coordinator of the Touadera Support Association (AST) which today has 2 million members across the country to support the actions and vision of the Head of State.
