Tourism Department renews support for Seychelles Fashion week

Tourism Seychelles has announced its support for the Seychelles Fashion week.

In a meeting with Telly’s Modelling Agency, Organisers of the Seychelles Fashion Week (SFW) at the Mont Fleuri house, the Principal Secretary for Tourism Mrs. Sherin Francis pledged the support of the Tourism Department after signing the official renewal document for this year’s event.

PS Francis echoed the commitment of the Tourism Department to keep the destination visible;

“It is always a pleasure to help promote local talents and savoir-faire. Seychelles Fashion week is an opportunity to keep Seychelles in the limelight and give visitors more reasons to visit our beautiful destination,” she noted

The CEO of Telly’s Modelling Agency Mr. Terry Carola used the opportunity to express his gratitude to the Department for its constant support, especially in terms of international visibility. He said the 5th edition of SFW will be as vibrant as in previous years.

”Other than pulling in participation from across the globe, SFW will be including the Inner Islands as focal points for the events for the first time,” Carola observed.

The agreement spelled out An agreement confirming the tourism department’s support to provide international coverage for the event, which marks its 5th year of existence this year.

The Seychelles Fashion Week has become popular on the local and regional calendars.
