President Samia Suluhu Hassan has made a minor cabinet reshuffle by transferring Minister of Culture, Arts and Sports Mohamed Mchengerwa to the Ministry of Tourism and Natural Resources.

Mchengerwa replaces Dr. Pindi Chana who has been shifted to the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Sports.

According to a State House statement issued on Tuesday evening, the Head of State has also transferred Culture, Arts and Sports Permanent Secretary Dr. Hassan Abbasi to the Ministry of Tourism and Natural Resources.

Dr Abasi is taking over from Prof Eliamani Sedoyeka.

Meanwhile, President Samia has appointed Said Othman Yakub as the new Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Sports.
