Namibia’s push for US Travel Market

Having recorded an encouraging international tourist arrivals as at June of 2023, the Namibia’s national tourism promotion agency is stepping up its activation in key source markets.

The Namibia Tourism Board is impressed with the US market and sees a great potential for the southern African country.

Joining onshow solution’s Africa showcase North America where the roadshow visited 4 key cities in the US, including; Seattle, Denver, Fort Lauderdale and Boston the NTB engaged with travel specialists, tour operators, travel agents in the US market.

The Marketing Manager of Namibia Tourism Board Charmaine Matheus who represented the board told VoyagesAfriq that their participation at the roadshow was a commitment to encourage the US to make Namibia a choice destination.

“As Namibia continues to steadily recover from the effects of Covid19, we see a great potential to increase our market share within the US region. Our participation was therefore necessitated by our need to drive awareness and grow our footprint with the market” Charmaine Matheus said.

She added that, the event delivered a dynamic blend of networking, destination insights, and valuable business interactions.
