In partnership with the Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA), the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism has completed the compilation of the Namibia Tourism Satellite Account (TSA) Report 2022.

The report, which was launched recently in Windhoek, capital of Namibia, by the Minister of Environment, Forestry and Tourism Pohamba Shiefta, provides an extensive database that highlights the contribution of tourism to the country’s economy.

Furthermore, the Satellite Account Report seeks to help the tourism industry to make well-informed decisions and to develop strategic plans for sustainable growth of the tourism industry.

Speaking during the launch, Minister Pohamba Shiefta emphasized the importance of data and the newly released Namibia Tourism Satellite Account Report 2022.

“Without data, you can hardly make informed decisions. So this is very important,” the minister said.
