As we step into the fourth month of our year-long Tourism for All Campaign, join us in commemorating Sierra Leone’s profound historical legacy with our theme for April: Gateway to Freedom and Liberation.
As we commemorate our Independence Month, we are deeply moved by the enduring legacy of emancipation and self determination epitomized by our revered figures like Bai Bureh, Sengbeh Pieh, Kailondo, Madam Yoko to name a few. Their courage and steadfastness serve as timeless reminders of the indomitable spirit of Sierra Leoneans. During this special time, we also pay homage to Sierra Leoneans who have distinguished themselves in diverse fields at home and abroad, bringing added recognition to the land that we love.
