Morocco: Adel Fakir appointed Director General of the National Office of Airports (ONDA)

His Majesty, King Mohammed VI on Saturday, June 1 appointed Adel Fakir as the new Director General of the National Office of Airports (ONDA), after a varied career in several sectors.

Adel Fakir holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the School of Engineers in Paris, a postgraduate diploma specialised in marketing from the Toulouse University of Social Sciences, and a Master’s degree from the Higher Institute of Commerce and Enterprise Management.

Prior to his appointment, Fakir served since 2018 as Director General of the Moroccan National Tourism Office. Between 2013 and 2018, he worked as Director of Advertising for the National Radio and Television Company, Deputy General Manager of Atlas Soft Drinks, and Regional Marketing Manager for North Africa and the Gulf States for Coca-Cola.
