Zambia to participate in WTM London

The Zambia Tourism Agency (ZTA) is gearing up to participate in the world’s leading travel showpiece, World Travel Market London in Excel, UK.

Scheduled to take place from Tuesday 5-7 Thursday November in Excel, London this year’s expo expects to showcase around 4,000 exhibitors including tourism boards, hoteliers, transport brands, technology services and world-class experiences. So far, it’s reported that there will be over 80 new exhibitors lined up at the global gathering.

Zambia’s delegation will be led by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism Evans Muhanga and assisted by the CEO of ZTA Matongo Matamwandi with a delegation comprising of leading industry figures representing DMOs, DMCs, Hotels, Tour Operators, and Airlines within Zambia’s tourism industry.

The 165 Square meter stand of Zambia will co-share with twenty five industry operators.

During the 3 day event,the ZTA aims to enhance the visibility of Zambia as a destination of choice. It will also host bilateral meetings and take part in speaking and networking opportunities. The head of delegation Mr Evans Muhanga is expected to participate in the WTM UN Tourism/WTTC Ministers’ Summit on Wednesday 6th November.

The interactive Zambia exhibition stand will come alive with the sights and sounds of the Southern African nation.
