The Uganda Tourism Board (UTB) has announced that travellers entering Uganda are currently not required to present a Yellow Fever vaccination certificate as a condition of entry.

In a press release, UTB said tourists travelling to the country do not need to provide proof of Yellow Fever vaccination at immigration.

The Board, however, urged travellers and tourism stakeholders to rely on official Government of Uganda channels for the latest and most accurate information on immigration and entry requirements.

The clarification is expected to provide greater certainty for international visitors planning trips to Uganda, particularly those who may have previously considered Yellow Fever certification a mandatory travel requirement.
