With two days to East Africa’s biggest travel exhibition Karibu-KiliFair Travel(7-9 June) show to start, organizers of the event have assured participants of yet another wonderful show with set-up, familiarization tours and all other ancillary activities ready for the show.

The Minister of Tourism and Natural Resources of the United Republic of Tanzania Dr Hamisi Kigwangalla has been confirmed as the chief guest to open the show. Other officials are expected to join him in Arusha. This year’s event is being held in a new venue, the TGT Grounds.

This year’s edition has 450 exhibitors from more than 15 countries and 600 buyers from more than 45 countries. It has seen a growth of 2.8% in the number of exhibitors from last year’s event in Moshi.

Over 30 confirmed seminars discussing tourism, conservation and sustainability have been lined up.

African Travel and Tourism Association (ATTA) will hold their maiden-networking event in Tanzania on the margins of the event.

KARIBU/KILIFAIR is the leading international Outdoor Tourism & Industry Fair in Tanzania, promoting and presenting companies based in the Kilimanjaro-Region, Tanzania and East Africa as a destination.
