Year of Return: Deborah Cox arrives in Ghana for World Music Festival

Renowned singer and actress, Deborah Cox is in Ghana to headline the Ghana World Music Festival as part of events marking the Year of Return.

The celebrated entertainment icon who touched down at the Kotoka International Airport at 3:50pm local time on Thursday afternoon was met on arrival by officials from the Year of Return secretariat and the Ghana Tourism Authority.

Ernie Smith will be performing at the Ghana World Music Festival

Prior to the August 3 – 4 event, Cox will participate in the Women in the Arts event at the Accra Tourist Information Centre this evening.

Earlier, the Year of Return team also received the arrival of award-winning South African recording artiste, Ernie Smith who will also be performing at the Ghana World Music Festival.
