Cabo Verde Airlines website was recognised the Best Airline Website in 2019, receiving the WebAward of the year from the Web Marketing Association.

Cabo Verde Airlines was congratulated by the Web Marketing Association with the news that its new website, launched in February, is officially considered the Best Airline Website of 2019. Each year, the Web Marketing Association names the candidates to the best airline wesite, officially giving the WebAward to the one that stands out for the contest. The best websites are evaluated according to seven criteria: design, usability, writing, interactivity, technology use, innovation and content, rated between 0 and 10 points.

In six of the seven target evaluation criteria, the new Cabo Verde Airlines website stood out above the industry average, which contributed to the final rating. For Mario Chaves, Cabo Verde Airlines Chief Corporate Affairs Officer “This award is the public recognition of the airline’s commitment to excellence in the services it provides to those who choose us to fly with,” he says.

Cabo Verde Airlines has launched its new website with the new company image and more features, allowing passengers to check in online, available from 36 hours up to two hours before boarding, seat reservation, luggage sales and sports equipment. Passengers also have access to alert messages, including early check-in and dedicated promotional campaigns.

Since 1997 the WebAwards have been recognized as the premier website awards program in the world. The 2019 edition was awarded to the Icelandic company Origo, which is specializes in information technology. This Web Marketing Association award is formally given to Origo, an Icelandic information technology company which developed the website for Cabo Verde Airlines.
