Africa’s edition of the Aviation Development Conference (AviaDev Africa 2020) which had been scheduled to take place in May has been postponed due to the continued spread of the COVID 19 (Coronavirus) disease. The new date for the event is 28 – 30 September 2020.

“The wellbeing of our attendees is of great importance and we feel that it is in the best interest of our regional and international participants to reconvene when the situation has improved, and travel restrictions have eased,” CEO and Founder of AviaDev, Jon Howell said in mail.

If you are already registered your registration will be automatically transferred over to these revised dates.

“We would like to take this opportunity to thank the host team at Ravinala Airports and the Novotel Convention and Spa, Antananarivo along with all our sponsors and partners for their continued support in making this event the most important route development event in Africa.

“Thank you for your support and please accept our apologies for any inconvenience these unprecedented circumstances may cause,” the statement said.

Following the global outbreak of the disease, many international trade shows have had to either postpone or cancel. ITB, the world’s largest tourism and travel trade show announced cancellation of the 2020 edition last month.
