The Board of South African Tourism (SAT) has appointed the organization’s Chief Marketing officer Themba Khumalo as SAT’s new Acting Chief Executive Officer.

This follows the resignation of Ms. Sthembiso Dlamini who officially ceased to head the organization on 30th November 2021 after she had communicated her desire to leave the post and the organization.

In an internal memo to staff on his appointment, the interim board chair solicited support for Mr. Khumalo in his new role

Mr. Khumalo’s appointment takes effect as of December 1 until further notice.
