Ephraim Mafuru named new MD of Arusha International Conference Centre

President Samia Suluhu of Tanzania has appointed Ephraim Mafuru as the Managing Director of the Arusha International Conference Centre (AICC).

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Mafuru was the Head of Corporate Affairs of Kilombero Sugar Company Limited (KSCL) located in the Morogoro region.

He has 20+ years of experience in marketing. Holds MBA from UDSM. Worked as Head of Corporate Affairs at Kilombero Sugar and led marketing at Vodacom Tanzania and Serengeti Breweries.

He is expected to ensure the Arusha-based convention center is back on the rails in an increasingly changing convention tourism market.
