The roadshow kicked off today, August 13, 2024, at the Cresta Gaborone, where industry professionals, travel agents, and tourism enthusiasts gathered to learn about Namibia’s tourism offerings. The energy in the room was palpable as representatives from top Namibian tourism providers shared insights into the country’s unique attractions and travel experiences. These presentations were designed to inspire and educate attendees about the adventure tourism, eco-tourism, cultural experiences, and family-friendly activities awaiting travelers in Namibia.

In the coming days, the roadshow will continue its journey through Botswana. On August 14, the event will move to Maun, taking place at the Sedie Riverside Hotel, followed by a stop in Kasane on August 15 at the Cresta Kasane. Each location will feature destination presentations, networking opportunities, and special promotions, providing a platform for Botswana’s tourism businesses to connect with Namibian trade partners.

The success of the roadshow is driven by the collaboration between the Namibia Tourism Board and key players in Namibia’s tourism industry.
