Nnaniki Makwinja sworn-in as Botswana’s Environment & Tourism Minister

Botswana’s President Mokgweetsi E.K Masisi has today, September 9, sworn-in Nnaniki Wilhemina Tebogo Makwinja as the country’s new Minister of Environment and Tourism.

This follows the sudden demise of Dumezweni Meshack Mthimkhulu on the 2nd September 2024.

Makwinja has been a member of the National Assembly of Botswana and also served as the assistant minister for basic education since 2019.
