With five weeks to go until the global business events community unites in Barcelona for the much-anticipated 2025 edition of IBTM World and, until October 20, trade visitors can register for ticketsto the leading international trade show free of charge.

With tickets granting full access to the more than 2,350 exhibitors on the show floor, an electrifying conference programme packed with pioneering speakers including polymath Nathalie Nahai and six-time TEDx speaker Natalia Talkowska, and a host of exhilarating networking events (including its famous Welcome Party and thrilling Club Night), trade visitors can reap the benefits of three days of unparalleled knowledge, connection and innovation.

Returning home to the acclaimed Fira de Barcelona from November 18 to 20, IBTM World 2025, organised by global events planner RX, is built around the theme of People. Power. Potential, and includes a plethora of exciting features to provide trade visitors with the real-world support, insight and inspiration for which the show is renowned.

Revolutionary solutions

Making its triumphant return to IBTM World 2025 is Exceptional Experiences, a programme designed to showcase groundbreaking solutions to help in-house event professionals and marketers create event experiences that fuel business growth. Launching this year with a powerful keynote address by author B. Joseph Pine II, industry heavyweights eager to share their expertise include WeTransfer, Canva, Shutterstock, Amazon and UTA.

Built for attendees who want to stay ahead of the curve, The Future Stage is where innovation meets action – taking a deep dive into transformative technologies, purpose-driven events, and the power of AI, amongst much else. It will begin with a fascinating session by Julius Solaris, Founder of Boldpush, who will be joined onstage by Ameca, a humanoid robot, for a candid interview about whether AI is ready to take over events and the future of human-AI interaction.

World-class support

Making its debut at the 2025 edition is IBTM Ignite, a new initiative giving over a hundred new start-ups the opportunity to showcase their bold ideas to an audience of around 30 experienced industry advisors and motivated investors. Helping to shape the events of tomorrow, the start-ups span sectors as diverse as event technology, sustainability and inclusive talent sourcing.

Returning for its second year is Hotel Pavillion, a dedicated space for independent and small group hotel businesses, including Obvio Hotels, Millennium Hotels & Resorts, and The Palm Experience Hotels, to spotlight their offer in an environment with a luxury hotel feel and amenities.

Recognising that not every visitor accesses content in the same way, Workplace Revolution is a welcoming space where delegates can hold conversations with inspirational figures in a relaxed, campfire-style setting. This year, these figures include multi-award-winning behavioural scientist Lea Karam, sustainability strategist and climate leader Dana Moore, and President of the Grae Matta Foundation, Dr. Ferron Gray.

A world of possibility

This year IBTM has launched its new Event Tech & Services area, which has attracted nearly 50 organisations including Cvent, Swoogo and vFairs. New companies include MIRAI, Gther, Newhotel Software and vFairs.

IBTM World 2025 is set to deliver an unforgettable and dynamic event experience with an exciting programme of on-site experiences designed to engage, inspire, and entertain visitors. There will be a variety of interactive activations taking place throughout the show floor and at the vibrant Social Spot including creative painting sessions and virtual reality zones showcasing inspiring destinations around the globe, along with a host of other on-site experiences.

IBTM World’s Exhibition Direction, Claudia Hall, said: “We have so much to offer event professionals joining us at IBTM World this year. Whether it’s trailblazing insights, tangible solutions, dedicated support, unmatched connection opportunities or access to some of the greatest minds in our industry and beyond, our show is a melting pot of innovation, ideas and inspiration. Every element of the show has been designed to empower our community — putting event professionals at the heart of change and equipping them with the tools to lead our industry into a thriving future. I can’t wait to welcome everyone to another incredible edition in just a few short weeks.”

Tickets will be priced at €100 for trade visitors registering after October 20.
