The Botswana Tourism Organisation (BTO) is participating at the ongoing the World Travel Market (WTM) Africa in Cape Town from the 13th – 15th April 2026.

As one of the leading global platforms for the travel and tourism industry, WTM Africa provides an opportunity for destinations to showcase their offerings, engage with international buyers, and strengthen strategic partnerships. BTO’s participation underscores its continued commitment to positioning Botswana as a premier tourism destination, renowned for its pristine wilderness, rich cultural heritage, and sustainable tourism practices.

During the exhibition, BTO will host a delegation of key industry stakeholders, including tour operators, hospitality providers, and other tourism partners, who will collectively market Botswana’s diverse tourism experiences.

In addition, BTO will host a series of engagements aimed at promoting destination Botswana, including business-to-business meetings, networking sessions, and targeted media interactions to enhance visibility in key source markets. BTO’s presence at WTM Africa aligns with its strategy to expand market access, foster meaningful partnerships, and drive sustainable growth within the tourism sector.

BTO invites industry stakeholders and media representatives to visit the Botswana stand to learn more about the country’s unique tourism offerings and investment opportunities.
