LZ Travel has officially unveiled ‘The Green Journey Collection”, a forward-thinking evolution of its luxury transfer offering, placing sustainability at the center of how high-end travel is experienced across South Africa

Launched during ILTM Africa, the collection signals a decisive shift in how the company approaches mobility, where refined service meets measurable environmental responsibility.

From its inception, LZ Travel has embedded eco-conscious practices into its operations. However, The Green Journey Collection represents a more deliberate and structured commitment to sustainable luxury, one that moves beyond intention into action.

“From the beginning, LZ Travel has been about delivering luxury experiences in a way that is mindful of our impact. Sustainability for us has never been a single initiative, it lives in the details, in every decision we make, and in how we continuously evolve our offering.”

— Motheo Modisane, Director, LZ Travel

This attention to detail is reflected across the business, from the use of recyclable bottled water in vehicles, to gifting solutions made from locally manufactured, recycled materials. Beyond environmental considerations, the brand’s approach also extends to community impact, with a focus on local employment, job creation, and skills development. During the ILTM Africa showcase, LZ Travel demonstrated its commitment through real-world impact. Over a two-day period, its fleet of eight vehicles covered approximately 130 kilometers while transporting hosted buyers, media and exhibitors to key engagements, producing an estimated 25 kilograms of CO₂ emissions.

“To put this into perspective, that’s roughly equivalent to the carbon generated by 21 ten-minute hot showers. As part of our greening programme, we have already offset this impact through the planting of four trees, ensuring that these journeys remain carbon neutral.”

— Ryno Terblanche, Director, LZ Travel

The launch also marks the introduction of electric mobility into LZ Travel’s fleet, with the addition of a BMW iX3 electric vehicle, further reinforcing the company’s transition towards lower-emission transport solutions. “The standard remains the same, every transfer, every tour is still exceptional. What changes is how we deliver that experience: more responsibly, more consciously, and in a way that reflects the future of travel.”

— Motheo Madisane, Director, LZ Travel

As part of its continued presence at WTM Africa, LZ Travel will showcase this electric vehicle as a tangible expression of “The Green Journey Collection”, offering industry stakeholders a closer look at how sustainability and luxury can coexist seamlessly.

Positioned at the intersection of innovation, responsibility, and experience, LZ Travel is redefining how travelers move through South Africa, proving that sustainable luxury is not a compromise, but a refinement.

“We’re proud to introduce “The Green Journey Collection” by LZ Travel. A new way of

moving, where every journey is designed to tread lighter, while remaining seamless and refined.” — Motheo Madisane, Director, LZ Travel
