ASKY Airlines has expanded its fleet to 17 aircraft following the arrival of a Boeing 737 MAX 8, registered ET-BCK, at its Lomé hub in Togo on 16 July 2026. The latest addition forms part of the airline’s plan to increase capacity and support higher flight frequencies to major destinations across its network.
The aircraft is the second fleet acquisition by ASKY this year, following the arrival of ET-BCJ on 5 July 2026. The additions mark a significant step in the airline’s fleet expansion programme announced earlier this year.
ASKY had outlined plans to grow its fleet to 17 aircraft to strengthen operations and enable daily services to key stations. The arrival of ET-BCK completes that target, providing additional capacity to support the airline’s growing network requirements.

The newly acquired Boeing 737 MAX 8 is configured with 160 seats, including 16 Business Class seats and 144 Economy Class seats. The aircraft brings additional capacity while maintaining the efficiency and performance associated with the 737 MAX family.
Headquartered in Lomé, Togo, ASKY operates as a regional carrier connecting destinations across West, Central and Southern Africa. Since commencing operations, the airline has focused on building an intra-African network that links key markets across the continent.
The expanded fleet will provide ASKY with greater operational flexibility as it works towards increasing frequencies on major routes and improving service availability across its network.
Fleet growth remains a key component of airline development, allowing carriers to respond to passenger demand, optimize schedules and strengthen their market presence. For ASKY, the addition of ET-BCK supports its continued efforts to expand capacity and enhance its regional operations.
With the integration of its latest Boeing 737 MAX 8, ASKY will now focus on deploying the additional aircraft across its network in line with its operational plans.
