#WTMA2019: African Tourism Investment Summit

In 2018 WTM Africa launched the Investment Forum as part of the exhibition and aimed to highlight investment potential and opportunities in the African continent. After the MASSIVE success of the 2018 forum, WTM Africa in partnership with Africa Business Group has announced that this initiative will now expand from being a 45-minute slot into a full summit, WTM African Tourism Investment Summit.

The summit will be taking place on 11-12 April 2019 in Cape Town and will allow potential investors to scope projects and opportunities across the African continent, while also meeting key stakeholders they can partner with at a cost of R2500 incl. vat.

SUMMIT OBJECTIVES

• Serve as a platform to match potential investors with tourism-related investment opportunities in selected Africa countries

• Create awareness about tourism related-investment opportunities and incentives offered to potential investors

• Share investment trends, opportunities, challenges and policy issues that impact on the growth of tourism economies of African countries

• Facilitate public-private partnerships in the development of tourism across the African continent
